Edwin F. Feo is a pioneer in renewable energy development and finance. Currently, he is the founder of USRG Renewable Finance, a partner in Seaward Road Capital, and a board member of Clean Power Finance, Clean Fund, Solsystems and EcoPower Capital – all of which are involved in the financing of solar generation projects. He is also a member of management of Leucadia Energy, a developer of coal and petroleum coke gasification projects. In 2011, USRGRF arranged the senior debt financing for 375 MW of rooftop PV projects over in multi-year development programs. Mr. Feo is also a managing director of Seaward Road Capital, a private equity firm focused on providing growth capital and strategic management to sustainable infrastructure companies.
Prior to 2010, Mr. Feo was the co-chair of the Global Project Finance practice at the international law firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, LLP where he spearheaded the development of one of the first law firm practice groups devoted to renewable energy. Under his leadership, the group closed more than 200 renewable energy transactions for more than $35 billion in capital, and consistently captured every top ranking presented to law firms in the industry.
Mr. Feo is an advisor or board member of a number of sustainable energy companies, including Clean Power Finance; Greentech Capital Advisors; and California Ethanol & Power.
He has been a featured panelist and speaker for numerous publications and industry conferences on nearly every aspect of the renewable energy field.
